Classic Anello fountain pen by Graf von Faber-Castell. Fine, platinum-plated rings adorn the barrel of this pen. “Anello” is Italian for ring. The barrel segments are made of grenadilla wood which is favored for making musical instruments. The cap and fittings are platinum plated. The fountain pen uses a cartridge/converter system and comes fitted with a converter. The hand-made bi-colored 18-carat gold nib with iridium tip is “run in” by hand. The manufacturing process for this pen involves over 100 steps, most of them carried out by hand by skilled craftsmen in Germany.
